ISLAMABAD : May 19,2023: A suicide bomber struck a Jamaat e Islami (JI) chief , Senator Sirajul Haq ‘s convoy in Zoab , Balochistan on Friday .
JI chief , Sirajul Haq and his party main leadership remained safe in the attack .
The suicide bomber could not hit the target as he failed to blow up himself close to the vehicle that was carrying JI chief senator Sirajul Haq and other party leaders. However , five JI workers got injured in the attack.
JI chief senator Siraj ul Haq is the most uncontroversial political leader and head of a party which has great street power and anti Pakistan forces attempted on his life to push Pakistan into another major crisis .
JI Amir remained undeterred after the attack and he visited the local hospital to inquire about the health of injured party workers .
Pakistan’s all top political condmned suicide attack on JI amir’s convoy and called it as a well coordinated conspiracy aimed at destabilising Pakistan .
Prime minister Shahbaz Sharif , condemned suicide bomber’s attack on JI Amir in Zoab , Balochistan . The prime minister thanked God that JI senator Sirajul Haq and his other party leaders remained unheart in the attack .
Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) chief , Imran Khan , also confirmed suicide attack on JI Amir , Sirajul Haq and demanded action against its perpetrators .
Interior minister , Rana Sanaullah, condemned suicide attack on JI Amir ‘s convoy and vowed to fix up those involved in the attack . Rana Sanaullah ordered inquiry into the case.
JI leaders condemned attack on their party chief’s convoy in Zoab in Balochistan and demanded a thorough inquiry to dig out the network behind the attack .
JI women leader and former MNA , Aisha Syed , condemned the suicide attack on JI Amir and other party leaders in Balochistan in strongest words and demanded action against its planners , executors and facilitators. Aisha Syed in her statement said Allah saved JI Amir in suicide attack for which we all Pakistanis thank God Almighty .
JI leader and president All Pakistan Traders , Kashif Chaudhary , has also condmned attack on JI chief , Sirajul Haq’s convoy . He said the enemy of Pakistan were carrying out such attacks and God is great who protects the people like Sirajul Haq in such attacks .
