ISLAMABAD: Jan 21,2023:. Suleman Shahbaz, son of prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , made a much needed clarification in response to a question asked by a journalist outside a trial court here on Saturday that he did not call Miftah Ismael as a joker . He further clarified that he had called three Finance ministers as jokers in his one of the media talks .
When the journalist asked him if he referred the last three Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Finance ministers as jokers including Hammad Azhar , Shaukat Tareen and Hafeez Shaikh , Suleman Shahbaz threw the guess on the questioner by saying he did not name anyone in his controversial media talk.
Suleman Shahbaz had told a group of media persons that the last three Finance ministers were joker and that Ishaq Dar was doing his best to make necessary corrections in national economy.
Suleman Shahbaz’s these remarks has offended Miftah Ismael who assumed that Suleman Shahbaz had listed him among what he termed as jokers rather than Finance ministers.
Miftah Ismael too did not believe Suleman Shahbaz could call him as a funny Finance minister . He had told a TV show host a couple of days ago that Suleman Shahbaz was his friend and he can not say anything insulting against him.
Suleman Shahbaz had appeared today before the trial court in Islamabad in a money laundering case.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had cleared Suleman Shahbaz of the allegations of money laundering in Ramzan Sugar Mills reference case and submitted to the court that the case of money laundering against Suleman Shahbaz was without any substantial evidence .
Suleman Shahbaz has emerged as a vibrant and resiliant political person . He seems very quick as for as his political understanding and reacting to any politically changing situation is concerned.
Suleman Shahbaz had faced Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) top leadership particularly chairman , Imran Khan , with open face on his return to Pakistan in December last to face charges levelled against him by the Imran Khan government.
