Swat terrorist group carried out Dasu bus attack: Report

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday released a report of Dasu bus blast that had claimed lives of 9 Chinese and 3 Pakistanis who were working on Dasu dam project a couple of months ago.

The terrorists targetted a bus carrying Chinese and Pakistani workers when they left the camp for reaching to the dam site. The blast was carried out through a remote control device.

Pakistan released inquiry report on Thursday after sharing it with Chinese government.

According to the report, Indian spy agency RAW and Afgjanistan ‘s NDS jointly planned the attack on Dasu dam projext in Afghanistan and hired Swat terrorist group for execution . The Swat group as per RAW and NDS plan hit the target of bus which was carrying Chinese and Pakistani workers of Dasu dam project.

The report added that the vehicle used by terrorists was provided by the planners from Afghanistan .

The report said Pakistan has already arrested some terrorists who were involved in Dasu dam attack. It also said Pakistan has formally approached to Afghan government for handing it over terrorists who were imvolved in the attack.

The blast was a big shock for Chinese and Pakistani authorities who were convinced that Dasu dam site was fully secured .

It also damaged Pak’ China relations to some extent when Chinese company had refused to work on Dasu dam on security reasons after the attack.

Pakistan, however, managed to have timely move to address concerns of the Chinese firm. . On assurance of flawless security , the Chinese firm agreed to restart work on Dasu dam project.
