ISLAMABAD: As terror revisits Balochistan with deadly attack on Hazara community in Mush which claimed 11 lives, National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) has issued warning of a major terrorist attack on the governnent departments in Karachi in the near future..
NACTA threat alert dated January 6, 2021 has been addressed to Home Secretary Sindh, Director General Pak Rangers Sindh and Police Chief Sindh . It reads as ” It has been informed that NACTA has recieved credible information that terrorists were planning major attack on the government departments in Karachi in the near future. Keeping in view the possible terrorists attack necessary measures and preperations have already been made. The provincial government is advised to have strict vigilance and heightened security to cope up with any untowards situation swiftly .
Pakistan is witnessing surge in terrorists activities in recent weeks. The deadly attack on Hazara community in Mush area in Balochistan just a few days ago that killed 11 people is its one indication. Now threat of terrorists attack in Karachi suggests anti Pakistan forces are actively following their agenda of destablising Pakistan through terrorist activities
