Terrorists have no option but to surrender :COAS

RAWALPINDI: August 23, 2023: Pakistan Armed Forces are determined to delete the scourge of terrorism and brave soldiers sacrifices strengthen the armed forces’ resolve for it.

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Syed Asim Munir, expressed his determination to pursue the war on terrorists until they surrender. He visited the area on Wednesday where 6 soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred while bravely fighting the terrorists.

A statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that there was an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Usman Manza area of South Waziristan.

The army jawans effectively targeted the hideouts of the terrorists as a result of which 4 terrorists were killed while 2 terrorists were injured. It added during the fierce exchange of fire, 6 soldiers were martyred.

A clearance operation was conducted to eliminate the suspicion of the presence of more terrorists in the area.

The armed forces are determined to end the scourge of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our determination. Another two terrorists were killed during the operation based on Earlier last week, security forces carried out a similar operation in Razmak area of North Waziristan on the intervening night of August 14 and 15 and killed two terrorists. Similarly, on August 13, during the exchange of fire in Charming valley of Bajaur district, 4 terrorists were killed and one soldier of Pakistan Army was martyred.
