THATHA: Toxic smoke generated by local factories here is turning into a big health hazard for locals as its causing serious diseases like asthma, bad throat and lung cancer among them.
According to investigations conducted by Amin Farooqi, our special correspondent, Thatha has population of over 0.1 million whose health is seriously exposed to taxic smoke generated by local factories.
Speaking to Amin Farooqi, the local residents said they were having serious health problems due to taxic smoke coming out of locals factories. The locals demanded of the authorities to take notice of this serious issue and take action to resolve the issue on long term basis.
The locals also demanded envirnment authorities to take notice of the situation and force local authorities to make sure that local factories follow the rules and ensure healthy environment to the local residents.
