Thatha: workshop calls to educate girls

THATHA: A workshop on Education for girls was held here on Thursday under SRO to highlight significance of education for girls.
Assistant Supretendent Police ( ASP) , Aleena Rajpur, in her address to the workshop said it is the education to girls which plays a key role in turning the society and country into a reformed one. She expressed satisfaction that SRO and mohala committees were doing good work in the area to create awareness among the people about importance of edcation to girls, but added still much more work was needed to achieve the goal of imparting quality education to girls. Aleena urged upon the parents to play their role to ensure that every female child gets enrolled in the school to get education and become a useful member of the society.
Mohlala committees of Sindh, Balochistan and southern Punjab caretaker, Ali Mirza, brief the workshop on progress made by mohala committees on creating awareness among the people on giving education to female children . He said mohala committees were working efficiently to do their work and their work has made great progress as far as education to girls was concerned. He called upon the parents to play their role to help mohala committees get every children enrolled in the schools.
Social Welfare Deputy Director , Khuda Bux Behrani, SRO Thatha chief , Ghulam Hussain Khawaja , senior journalist, Iqbal Khawaja, Fara Shah, Irfan Samoo, sumaira Umair also addressed to the participants of the workshop.
