Thousands turn up to pay homage to Rasool Bux Palejo on anniversary

THATHA: June 9, 2023: A huge crowd of Sindhiani Tehreek followers tuned up to pay homage to its leader, Rasool Bux Palejo, on his fifth anniversary held at his hometown Jang Shahi in Thatha.
Our special correspondent, Amin Farooqui, reported from the scene. According to him, thousands of Rasool Bux Palejo followers attended the anniversary of their leader.

Rasool Bux Palejo was one of the legendary leaders, thinker, intellectual and chief Awani Tehreek and he spent his whole life for the rights of Sindh and Sindhi people. Sindhi people also had great affection for their leader and they are showing their love for their leader even after his death by turning in tons of thousands in number to attend anniversary of Sindhiani Tehreek founder.

A large number of women of Sindhiani Tehreek also participated in dua offered on anniversary of Rasool Bux Palejo. Rasool Bux Palejo had also launched Sindh girl student movement to educate girls in Sindh when Wadaras and landlords of Sindh were not in favour of imparting education to girls in Sindh. A smart group of Sindhi girl students movement paid homage to Rasool Bux Palejo through a march past on the occasion.
Renowned classical danger Seema Kirmani and other artists performed to pay homage to their leader—Rasool Bux Palejo .
Khushhal Khan Kakar, son of slain Usman Kakar from Balochistan also participated in the anniversary.

A resolution was moved by the leaders of Awani Tehreek denouncing construction of dams on Sindh river and other anti Sindh projects . The resolution also calls for expelling of non Sindhi from Sindh. The resolution also rejected digital consensus.
Addressing the participants of the anniversary, central president of Awami Tehreek , Lal Jarwar , said Rasool Bux Palejo was a great leader of all times and he created awareness among the people to fight for their rights. He said Rasool Bux Palejo’s philosophy to educate girls and empower them to play a vibrant role made him a revolutionary leader for all times.
Other leaders who addressed to the public on this occasion included Azhar Jamil, Jami Chandio, Sheema Kirmani and Nazir Leghari.
