Traders’ issues to be raised at Senate: Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People Party (PPP) senior leader and senator, Mustafa Mawaz Khokhar , has assured to the traders community of the federal capital that he would take its issues to the senate to get them resolved. He was speaking at a reception hosted by Anjuman e Tajran for newly elected president Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) , Shakil Munir and other elected representstives of Islamabad traders here.
In his address, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar said he has got awareness about the issues confronted with traders community of Islamabad and would raise these issues at senate to get them resolved. He offered all out help to the ICCI and its members to help them have conducive envirnment for carrying out trade and industrial activities .

ICCI president, Shakil Munir, thanked ICCI members and leaders of United Group for puttlng trust in him to elect as ICCI president. Shakil Munir said he would make every possible effort to come up to the expectations of his group’s leaders and members of ICCI.

United Group chairman, Mian Akram Farid, in his address, said he was thankful to the voters of ICCI who voted for United Group to help it repeat history of wiining ICCI elections with thumping majority. He said winng of United Group in ICCI elections was indicative of its matchless services to the trading community of Islamabad.
Retiring president ICCI , Sardar Yasir Ilyas, said last year COVID-19 hampered his and his team’s efforts to resolve the problems of Islamabad- based traders and industrialists, but he and team did good works to resolve many major issues of Islamabad based traders. He counted some of his achievemens as ICCI president and said his services were always available for ICCI and its members.

United Group secretary general, Zafar Bukhtawari, said United Group has a history of its services to the trading community of Islamabad and its new team, headed by president Shakil Munir, will come up to the exprctations of all the stakeholders.
