UAE uses COVID as ploy to screw Pakistan?

ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirate (UAE) has banned Pakistan for issuing visa fearing spread of COVID-19  in the second wave, which, as of today (November 19, 2020) has total 363, 380 active corona cases,  but at the same time it did not include India among the list of countries which have been banned from issuing visa in the wake of corona spike in that country.

The official statistics suggest India, as on November 19, 2020 has more than 8.91 million active cases with 130,993 deaths, but UAE do not fear carrying of the virus by the Indian nationals but it had great fear that Pakistani nationals may become a cause of giving spike to the deadly virus if they enter in UAE . Pakistan death toll for the same period stood at 7,230 which makes a small portion as compared to India.

If you go by the statistics, you can easily reach to the conclusion that its not COVID-19, but something else which is being used by many countries like UAE against Pakistan. The entire block of Middle East is not missing any opportunity that can be used to screw Pakistan.

Pakistan is facing worst time in financial terms of its 73 years history and it needs support of those countries which historically used be a source of it for earning remittances. UAE was among those countries which had always been a source earning of foreign exchange, but now it seems that is under pressure from some quarter to fix-up Pakistan.

UAE had banned some 15 countries from issuing visa in the wake of COVID-19 and Pakistan is among the counties falling in negative list.
