Peshawar – The University of Peshawar has announced the cancellation of several undergraduate programs for the Fall 2025 session due to insufficient student enrollment.The decision was communicated through a notification issued by the Directorate of Admissions on October 20, 2025.
According to the university’s approved regulations, any BS program admitting fewer than 15 students will not be permitted to commence.The latest admissions data shows that nine programs failed to meet this minimum requirement.

Students who had secured admission in the affected programs are advised to contact the Directorate of Admissions for assistance in shifting to alternative degree programs to avoid any disruption in their academic careers.
The notice also emphasizes that the matter should be treated as urgent, reflecting the university’s concern over safeguarding students’ educational futures.
Copies of the notification were forwarded to the Registrar, the Vice Chancellor’s office, and the Director of Admissions for immediate necessary action.
