KARACHI: March 21, 2023: In an expected development , US dollar is maintaining its gaining streak in value terms against the local currency in both interbank and open market . Today US dollar soared to new highs by gaining another Rs 0.50 against PKR. With this increase US dollar value rose to Rs 284 (selling) level to a rupee today in interbank. Buying value of US dollar in interbank is Rs 283.50.
In open market US dollar value is Rs 283 buying and Rs 286 selling today. Other major currencies are also showing upward trend against the rupee in the domestic market. Saudi Riyal value today stands at Rs 74.90 buying and Rs 75.80 selling. UAE dirham buying and selling rate is Rs 76.80 and s 77.80 respectively.
Euro today touched highest ever level of Rs 300 in domestic currency market. Its buying and selling rates are Rs 300 and Rs 303 respectively. Pound sterling rate in open market today is Rs 343.50 and Rs 347.50 respectively.
AUD rate today is Rs186.50 buying and Rs 188.50 selling. CAD rates today in local currency market are Rs 204.50 buying and Rs 206.50 selling.
