Tehran: Iran has confirmed killing of its Supreme Leader , Ayatullah Khamanai ,in Israel , US strikes and announced a 40-day mourning to protest his killing.
US and Israel had carried out multiple deadly attacks on more than a dozen cities of Iran on Saturday. Their fighter jets and missiles bombed at Iran’s top military and political leadership including Supreme Leader, Ayatullah Khamanai. These attacks had killed Pasdaran e Inqlab leader, defence minister and many other top leaders of Iran.
Iran had confirmed bombing of Supreme Commander’s presidential palace in Tehran, but claimed within hours after the US and Israel bombing that its Supreme Leader had survived the attack and was shifted to some safe location in the country.
Following the attacks, US president , Donald Trump, had claimed killing of Ayatullah Khamanai.
Initially , Iran refuted Trump’s claim, but Iran’s news agency confirmed killing of Ayaruallah Khamanai on Sunday morning.
Ayatuallah Khamanai’s death in US, Israel attacks is a big loss of Iran. Soon after announcement of death Ayatuallah Khamanai’s followers took to the streets of Tehran in thousands to protest killing of their supreme leader.

Iran has struck UEWR (Early Warning Radar) system based in Doha , Qatar ,the most sophisticated United States’ radar system that it used for monitoring air activity across the whole Gulf and levant region. Iran’s blowing up of its UEWR system has literally blinded the US forces to hit its targets in Iran and monitor any missile attack from Iran.
US UEWR valued over US $ 1.1 billion. After US and Israel attacks in Tehran and other major cities on Friday morning , Iran announced that it will never cave in to these aggressions of US and Israel. In retaliation to US and Israel attacks , Iran attacked US bases in the middle East including Riyadh, Doha , Dubai and some other locations . US is using these bases to hit targets in Iran. Israel and US confirmed that it launched major operation in Iran . They used 200 fighter jets and batteries of long range missiles to hit their targets in Iran.
US and In Israel attacked Iranian top leadership in its first attacks. Israel targeted a University in Tehran and killed dozens of girl students.
Iran officially confirmed on Saturday night that its missiles hit at 14 US bases in ME and caused huge loss to most of them.

Meanwhile , Iran has closed strait of Hormuz. Iranian people are showing strength for Iranian government in reaction to US and Israel attacks.

In a related development , Pakistan’s prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif had telephonic conversations with Saudi Crown Prince , Mohammad Bin Salman (MBS) to discuss the situation arising out of Iran-US war. The prime minister assured the Saudi Crown Prince that Pakistan accords top priority to security and defence of Saudi Arabia. He also spoke to Qatari leadership to discuss the situation in the middle east after US and Israel attacks on Iran.
The prime minister condemned bombing of Qatar and other brotherly Muslim countries of the region.
