What a movement for Pakistan . A young 24- year old , Nooh Dastghir Butt, sets a new record to bring a gold medal by lifting ,504 kg weight in his category in Common Wealth Games (CWG) 2022.
Nooh Butt made the entire Pakistani nation proud with his stunning performance at CWG,22 heavy weight competition.
Nooh Dastghir Butt, who comes from Gujranwala , Pakistan’s leading industrial city of Punjab known as City of ‘Pehlwans’ (wrestlers) had also won a silver and bronze medals for
Pakistan in 2018 and 2020 CWG.
Nooh Dastghir Butt’s win has come at a time when Pakistanis are in dejection mood at home due to dirty politics and weakening economy. The young weightlifter brought big joy for his nation by winning a gold medal at CWG 22 being held at Briminghum in United Kingdom .
Noor Dastghir Butt’s outstanding perfornance at CWG22 has been widely celebrated by entire Pakistanis living in Pakistan and world over . The social media swamped with Nooh ‘s great win in heavy weight competition at CWG 22.
Shahid Afridi is one of millions of Pakistanis who gave emotional celebration to Nooh for making history at CWG22 and making Pakistan and Pakistani nation proud . He wrote in his social media comments ‘ I was in tears to see Nooh standing at winning Dias at CWG 22. Well done young Butt'”.
Pakistanis in UK swarmed in Berminghum streets with Pakistan Zindabad and Noor Dastghir Butt Zindabad after winning of Nooh Butt.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) celebrated Butt’s win for Pakistan by sharing his pictures showing this young man from Pakistan with huge weight in hands raised full up to re write CWG’s history.
