KARACHI: Jan 6, 2023: T he rupee is finding no respite against US currency in local currency market. The rupee is losing to US currency in interbank and open market on Friday.
According to All Pakistan Currency Dealers Association (APCDA), US dollar gained 25 paisa in interbank on Friday and its rate in interbank today is Rs 227.25. In open market , US dollar also gained 20 paisa and increased to Rs 233.90 to a rupee.
The rupee is on the losing end on 12 consecutive session.
Saudi Riyal rate on Friday is Rs 66.30 . it witnessed no change in rate today. UAE dirham rate in Pakistan market today is Rs 68.30 . Like Saudi Riyal, UAE dirham also witnessed no change in its value on Friday.
Euro rate today in local currency market is 263.35 and pound sterling is trading today in currency market at Rs 299. Japanese yen rate in local currency market today is Rs 184280 . CAD rate today in local market is Rs 183. 50 and AUD rate today is Rs 169.
