Rawalpindi : “Who do you think you are ? ” Asked the director general of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) , Leautinant General , Ahmad Sharif Chaudhary , to Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) incarcerated founding leader , Imran Khan , during a pressure held here on Friday
Ahmad Sharif Chaudhary lashed out at PTI founding chairman for targeting Pakistan’s defence forces and its leadership to make his narrative that he believed has turned into a security risk for Pakistan.. ISPR DG questioned to PTI top leader why instead working for welfare of the people of Khyber Pukhtunkhaw (KPK) where his party was in power , your total focus was on making narrative against the military and its leadership ? Then he noted that what you (Imran Khan) was doing does not fall within the ambit of politics. He added that only a man sitting in jail who is sick of self projection and believes that he is everything and if he is not then there was nothing . ISPR chief asserted that Imran Khan was using the facility of meetings in jail for creating chaos in the country. Mr Chaudhary said every country has its military which guarantees security of the state and its people and Pakistan too has its military which is fighting against terrorism to protects sovernighty and lives of its people. He said Imran Khan thinks himself bigger than the state and its system , but he is not, adding , no one is bigger than the state and its system.
ISPR DG made his case with images made to prove that Imran Khan was proving a dangerous narrative to Indian and Afghan governments to malign Pakistan ‘s armed forces and its leadership. He said such narrative was being made to create chaos in the society and weaken Pakistan .
