Yellow card made mandatory for Pakistanis intending Hajjis

Islamabad : The new instructions have been issued for pilgrims from Pakistan to perform the obligatory Hajj pilgrimage, making it mandatory to obtain a special card. According to the details, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued instructions to make it mandatory for Hajj pilgrims to get vaccinated against meningitis, flu, and polio before leaving for Saudi Arabia. All Hajj pilgrims must get this vaccine free of charge from their nearest Hajj camp and obtain a yellow card.

It will not be possible to enter Saudi Arabia without a yellow card.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs says that pilgrims over the age of 65 should also carry their old Corona vaccine card. If this card is not available, they will have to get a new card by getting a Corona vaccine from the Hajj camp near the Ministry of Religious Affairs. In addition, all Hajj pilgrims are warned to travel to Saudi Arabia only with a valid Hajj permit. Fake companies and illegal advertisements are deceiving pilgrims with fake promises of permits.

The ministry added that illegal Hajj permits may result in detention, fines or deportation by Saudi authorities and denial of entry to holy sites such as Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah. Incorrect permits may also cause financial losses to pilgrims as the money paid for these unauthentic Hajj packages will not be refunded. Therefore, let us ensure a safe, legitimate and spiritually enriching Hajj for all of us, for which pilgrims are requested to prepare for Hajj only through authentic sources and follow all necessary instructions.
