Zahoor Ahmad replaces Sohail Ali Khan as secretary Information, broadcasting

ISLAMABAD : August 30: The caretaker government has appointed Zahoor Ahmad, a 21 grade officer of secretariat group as secretary incharge of ministry of Information and Broadcasting . Mr Zahoor Ahmad was awaiting for his new appointment in Establishment Division. He succeeded Mr Sohail Ali Khan . Sohail Ali Khan has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.

A BS 21 officer of Secretariat Group, Mr. Zahoor Ahmed comes with 30 years of experience of working with the Government of Pakistan, the United Nations, USAID and Civil Society Organisations. He has worked in key Ministries of the Federal Government of Pakistan in public finance management, policy making, public diplomacy, coordination and implementation positions. He has been part of the select team to design and articulate budget communications on a number of occasions. He has played key role in articulating public diplomacy and outreach initiatives of the Federal Government. He has a vast experience of designing, managing and delivering policy dialogue with diverse actors for reform in the education sector. He brings considerable knowledge of Government of Pakistan reform issues, particularly with respect to governance, human resources, sector financing, devolution and information and accountability mechanisms.
