JI ” Lahore Ijtama- e – Aam” aimed at change of system : Dr Tariq Saleem

Islamabad – Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab, Dr. Tariq Saleem, has announced that the upcoming Ajtma e Aam to be held at Minar-e-Pakistan on November 21, 22, and 23 under the slogan “Change the System” will mark one of the largest political gatherings in the world in recent times.

Addressing a review meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab’s district chiefs, Dr. Tariq Saleem said that an “ocean of people” will be witnessed across the 339 acres of Greater Iqbal Park during the event. He emphasized that the party’s primary objective is to “bring the young generation out of despair”. He reaffirmed Jamaat-e-Islami’s historic role in standing with the people and addressing their problems.

Dr. Tariq Saleem said that the Ajtma e Aam would serve as a launch platform for an organized and united struggle aimed at achieving a complete transformation of the current system. He added that through the “Change the System” movement, Jamaat-e-Islami will present a comprehensive plan of action to safeguard the rights of the nation and rekindle hope among the youth. He further stated that millions of participants, including men, women, and children from across Pakistan and abroad, are expected to attend the three-day grand Ajtma e Aam. On the occasion, Jamaat-e-Islami will unveil a detailed agenda for reforms in key sectors, including education and the judiciary, alongside major initiatives for economic, social, and political renewal in the country. To ensure smooth arrangements, 37 committees comprising around 400 members have been established for administrative management, while online registration for participants has already begun. Dr. Tariq Saleem added that all programs and sessions will be broadcast live on social media platforms to facilitate wider public participation.
