Islamabad// Quetta: Pakistan Muslim League (N) central leader and Member of the National Assembly from Hazara Division, Dr. Shaista Khan Jadun, has paid glowing tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for their timely, effective, and courageous operations at 12 different locations in Balochistan. She stated that as a result of these successful operations, all malicious designs of the enemy were crushed and the country was saved from a major catastrophe.
Dr. Shaista Khan Jadun said that during the recent operations against terrorism in Balochistan, 18 brave sons of the nation embraced martyrdom, laying down their lives to secure a safe future for coming generations. The entire Pakistani nation salutes these martyrs and expresses solidarity with their families. She said these sacrifices are clear proof that Pakistan’s security forces will never retreat from defending the homeland, no matter the cost. During these operations, more than 148 terrorists—who were working on the agenda of foreign masters—were eliminated, and enemy hideouts were completely destroyed.
Dr. Shaista Khan Jadun expressed deep sorrow that 18 innocent civilians, including women and children, were also martyred in these terrorist incidents. However, she emphasized that the security forces risked their own lives to save as many civilians as possible and forced the enemy into retreat.
She said that the restoration of peace and order in Balochistan is not merely a military achievement, but the result of the strong resolve of the State of Pakistan, the correct direction of political leadership, and the unparalleled strategy of military leadership. The professionalism, discipline, and bravery demonstrated by the security institutions are a matter of pride.
Dr. Shaista Khan Jadun stated that the credit for these successful operations goes to Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, under whose leadership the Pakistan Armed Forces not only foiled the enemy’s plans but also defeated terrorists at 12 different locations. She said that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s military insight, decision-making, and courageous leadership have proven that the responsibility of Pakistan’s defense rests in strong hands.
She said that under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Pakistan Armed Forces have once again sent a clear message that there is no place on this land for those who conspire against Pakistan. No matter what tactics the enemy employs, the security forces are fully prepared on every front.
Dr. Shaista Khan Jadun also praised the leadership of Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, stating that the current government made national security its top priority immediately after assuming office. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif provided full confidence and resources to security institutions at the political, diplomatic, and administrative levels, the positive results of which are evident before the entire nation today. She said the Prime Minister’s vision is absolutely clear: there should be no space for terrorism in Pakistan. Under this vision, the federal and provincial governments are working together to establish sustainable peace across the country, including Balochistan.
Dr. Shaista Khan Jadun made special mention of the far-sighted leadership of Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, stating that appointing Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir as the head of the Pakistan Armed Forces was a 100 percent correct decision. She said that Nawaz Sharif has always prioritized strengthening institutions, bringing capable leadership forward, and placing national interests above personal politics. She added that it was Nawaz Sharif’s vision that Pakistan needs strong defense, a stable economy, and a peaceful society—and today’s successful operations against terrorism in Balochistan are a practical manifestation of that vision. Such decisions, she said, are not based on temporary politics but are decisions that determine the correct direction of history.
Dr. Shaista Khan Jadun said that today the government, the armed forces, and the people are on the same page, which is the greatest strength of any nation. She said that hostile forces are fearful of this unity and that is why they were attempting to spread unrest in Balochistan, but the security forces crushed these conspiracies. She said the people of Balochistan have always remained loyal to Pakistan, and the recent operations have proven that the state will not abandon the people of Balochistan. The journey of development, employment, and peace will continue, and the scourge of terrorism will be uprooted completely.
Dr. Shaista Khan Jadun further said that security institutions are fully determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism. Enemy elements working on foreign agendas are now licking their wounds of defeat and facing failure on every front. She said Pakistan is a responsible state, but it will make no compromise on its sovereignty, security, or the protection of its people.
Under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the political strategy of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and the guidance of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan has once again been set on a strong and correct path.
