RAWALPINDI: Dec 2,2022: Nasim Shah ‘s stunning bowling spell provided much-needed comeback on the second day of Rawalpindi test match on Friday.
He sent three top batters of guest team back to pavillion.

English team had trashed Pakistan’s bowling squad on Thursday . Its four players made centuries on the first day of match.
The cricket experts had called Rawalpindi stadium’s crease as an absolute road . This opened a flood of criticism against Pakistan Cricket Board ( PCB) for preparing such a dead crease for test match between Pakistan and England .

The first set of Rawalpindi test remained with England batters who made the new records. Its opers put the fastest 200 runs on the board . The English batters took Pakistani bowlers from the very first over of the match and played an aggressive game . Pakistani bowlers seemed total helpless during the first day play of the match . The English batters also set a new record in cricket history by making four centuries in a total of 506 runs for four.
England will start its game from 506 runs for four wickets .

The way wicket is behaving it seems that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will face questions for preparing a wicket in Rawalpindi stadium which helps the batters make huge runs.

Pakistan’s new bowlers who debut here on Thursday also remained unimpressive. They gave away too many runs that provided an opportunity to English bowlers secure four centuries.

Earlier English Cricket Board (ECB) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had decided to play Rawalpindi test as per schedule.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) today early had informed PCB that they are in a position to field an XI, and, as such, the first Test will commence as per schedule today (Thursday, 1 December) at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The two boards made the decision after the medical advice of the England doctors.

The schedule of the second Test in Multan and the third Test in Karachi remain unchanged and will be played as per original schedule i.e. 9-13 and 17-21 December, respectively.

The series is very important for Pakistan to qualify for the finals of the ICC World Test Championship 2022-23.

Earlier England’s cricket team captain Ben Stokes and other important players have fallen ill ahead of the first Test match.

Earlier this year in September-October, the England team toured Karachi and Lahore to play seven T20Is. The English team won the series 4-3 and lifted the trophy. According to the schedule, the three-match test series’ first Test will be played at Rawalpindi from (1-5 December) 2nd test in Karachi (9-13 December) and 3rd test will be played at Multan from (17-21 December).
