Islamabad police arrest 4 drug peddlers

ISLAMABAD : Tarnol Police have arrested four drug pushers from Dore Village and recovered huge cache of narcotics, wine a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
According to a news released by the police on Wednesday, following directions and guidance of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas renewed efforts were underway to curb bootlegging and drug peddling activities in the city.
Following these directions a police team of Tarnol under the supervision of SP Saddar, Tasawwar, Iqbal, has arrested four drug peddles from Dore villlage identified as Haris Safddar, Ansar Khan, Muhammad Naiz and Muhammad Pervez and recovered total 3530 grams heroin from their possession. Separate cases have been registered against the nabbed persons.
The IGP has appreciated the performance and directed all police officials for high vigilance and monitoring against those involved in anti-social activities. He said that Islamabad Police would also safeguard its youth from various evils like use of drugs and ensure their brighter future.
He said that it was collective responsibility of every person of the society to remain alert against those involved in criminal activities in their surroundings and inform police for action against them.
