Pakistan Tehreek- e Insaf (PTI) members who by technical reasons are declared of Sunni Ittehad Counsel (SIC) member remained steadfast on their seats throughout the speech duration of the prime minister for chanting slogans of Chor , Chor .
In response to the opposition ‘s slogans , the ruling members also changed slogans of Ghari Chore , Ghari Chore. Both prime minister Shahbaz Sharif and runner up of the prime minister ‘s election , Omar Ayub Khan , passed on volley of allegations on each other’s party in their Sunday’s maiden speeches .The start of the new national assembly is indicative of bad days ahead .
Rukus created in the national assembly also indicates the political stuff of Pakistan is more interested in show off than addressing the real issues confronted with Pakistan and its people .
In a related development , Jamaat e Islami (JI) has called upon the members of the national assembly who believe that February 8 elections were rigged must join its anti government movement. These developments may add to political uncertainty in Pakistan and worsen its economic crisis rather than pulling the country out of the current multi dimensional crisis.
