Sussi Palejo calls for implementation of 1991 accord to address water scarcity in Sindh

THATHA: Pakistan People Party (PPP) senior leader senator, Sussi Palejo has said the federal government should is treating Sindh like a step mother. She added the Sindh province is facing acute water shortrage that is going to destroy its agriculture and at the same time it is also faced with severe gas shortage.

.Sussi Palejo was talking to the residents of Sukpur and some other areas of Sagroo.

Sussi Palejo claimed that gas shortage can cause irriparable loss to the economy of Sindh.

The PPP noted that the federal government should take urgent measures to restore gas supply to Sindh, besides resolving its water scarcity issue.

She noted that PPP is striving to provide basic facilities to the rural areas of Sindh, but the ruling Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) was intentionally damaging the development schemes of the province.

Sussi Palejo noted that she was trying to resolve water scarcity issue in Sagroo, Sukpur and other adjacent areas.
