Train Services Resume in Quetta After Deadly Blast Halts Operations for Four Days

QUETTA, November 15, 2024: Train services in Quetta have been restored following a four-day suspension after a deadly blast rocked the city’s railway station on November 9.

Pakistan Railways had announced the halt of all train operations from November 11 to November 14 as a precautionary measure after the devastating explosion.

The explosion took place just as the Jaffar Express was preparing to depart, with a large crowd of passengers present on the platform.

Two trains, the Jaffar Express heading to Peshawar and the Chaman Passenger bound for Chaman, were both scheduled to leave at the time of the attack.
