Quetta : April 13, 2024: After daylong deliberations , an opposition alliance of six parties including Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) on Friday announced “Tahufiz e constitution movement TCM”. TCM will begin its journey from its first public rally to be held in Karachi on April 17,2024. Addressing a press conference after announcement of TCM here , opposition leader in the national assembly and PTI senior leader , Omar Ayub Khan , said TCM is starting anti government movement from Balochistan and it will be extended to entire Pakistan to what he claimed throw the government of Form 47 out of the powers. He added that PTI chairman is in jail for the crime he never committed . He termed the cases of PTI founding chairman , Imran Khan, as unsubstantiated. He counted the cases of £ 190 million fraud and Toshakhana as a reference in support of his argument. He said Mahmood Khan Achakzai will head TCM as its president. Mahmood Khan Achakzai also termed February 8 elections of Pakistan as a fraud and vowed that TCM will expel the government of Form 47 out of power. He maintained that the people of Pakistan who voted for PTI in February 8 elections will not accept unlawful Shahbaz government. Liaqat Baloch of Jamaat e Islami said Jamaat e Islami (JI) fully agrees to all the decisions made by the opposition alliance in its meeting held here on Friday. Akhtar Mangal who chaired Friday’s huddle of the opposition alliance said TCM will continue its struggle till achievement of its final goal of throwing the illegal government of Shahbaz Sharif is thrown out of the power.
