ISLAMABAD, November 21, 2024: In preparation for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest scheduled for November 24, the government is likely to suspend internet and mobile services from November 23.
Sources from the Ministry of Interior revealed that these measures will be implemented starting from November 23, affecting Islamabad as well as various districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.

To enforce these measures, a firewall will be activated on mobile internet services beginning November 22. This is expected to slow down internet speeds and prevent the downloading of videos and audio from social media platforms.
The government’s move aims to control the spread of information and limit online activity in anticipation of the planned demonstration.
