THATHA: Deputy Commissioner Thatha, Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, on Wednesday ordered to the local authorities to make sure that every child in the district gets polio drops in up coming polio campaign.
He was presiding over a meeting of the departments of district administration to take review of the arrangements made to make the upcoming police campaign a big success.
Ghazanfar Ali Qadri directed to the officials concerned to utilize their best services to perform 100 percent to make sure that every child in the district get polio campaign. He warned the authorities that he will not tolerate any negligence in the delivery of polio campaign as it is directly linked with the safety and security of kids who are out future.
He also highlighted the role of the local NGOs, social workers and religious clerics in creating awareness among the people to make them realise that polio drops were extremely important for the babies falling in up to 5= year age group.
Ghazanfar Ali Qadri said the Rangers and police will accompany the polio workers to take immediate action against those parents who will refuse to administer polio drops to their babies.
