RAWALPINDI. August 8,2022.. Pakistan Muslim League (PML) chief, Shaikh Rashid Ahmad, has added more confusion in already polluted domestic polics by questioning how Imran Khan would accept result of next general elections if they would be held under incumbent chief election commissioner , Aftab Sultan Raja.
Shaikh Rashid Ahmad tweeted on Monday that the situation in the country was getting alarming as political parties were on collision course. He added that the centre and provinces were on stand- off and political and economic situation could lead to switch- off the game of all .
Shaikh Rashid Ahmad, however, did not elaborat in his tweet whose game is going to get over in a what he foresee an economic and political crisis in the country.
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI);chairman , Imran Khan, is targetting chief election commissioner for months . Now with ruling against his party in foreign funding case , PTI chief is becoming harder on Aftab Sultan Rqja and clting him as the most controversial chief election commissioner of Pakistan .
Shaikh Rashid Ahmad is among those political sides to ousted prime minister, Imran Khan, who are listening to danger of getting Sri Lanka type economic turmoil in Pakistan. He is the one who suggested Imran Khan to resign from national assembly alongwith his party members national assembly to press the government for his demand of early elections in the country
Probably, by suggesting to resign from the national assembly, Shaikh Rashid Ahmad wanted to take Imran Khan to a point of no return and he managed to get it done.
Imran Khan who loves to hear and take advice from admirers like Shaikh Rashid Ahmad, ignored dissidents but sane voices from within his party to stay in the parliament and press the government for early elections.
Shaikh Rashid Ahmad has unrelentless grudge and vevom against Sjarifs and he is using Imran Khan and his party hardliners to satiate his venomous state of mind.
Imran Khan , being a venous person himself, is getting into Shaikh Rashid Ahmad’s trap happily . His party hawks like Fawad Hussain Chaudhary and Pervez Khatak are making the rest to pump full air in ballooned Imran Khan to let him behave like a warrior than a sensible politician.
These hawkish political aides want Imran Khan to keep taking his posture of a warrior political leader.. These elements have their own agendas. For example, Shaikh Rashid Ahmad, whose party is limited to his own constituency knows well that his political survival is directly attached with widened political gap between Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf . He , being a shrwed politician,, understands that he would become irrelevant if Imran Khan and his party gives up politics of confrontation with Nawaz Sharif and his party. Shaikh Rashid Ahmad would be the last politician to see anything good happening for polticial cohesion in Pakistan. He hurled hundreds of statements during the last two months or so wherein he hinted at Sti Lanka type economic turmoil in Pakistan. He would be utterly disappointed if Pakistan does not slip (God forbid) into Sri Lanka type crisis .
In his Monday’s tweet , Shaikh Rashid Ahmad claimed to have a very important press conference on August 12 , a day before PTI would be rallying in Islamabad for unfolding its future political strategy.
