Buzdar in trouble, wind of change in Punjab turns into storm

ISLAMABAD: Despite unflinching support of Prime Minister , Imran Khan , political storm against chief minister Punjab , Sardar Usman Buzdar , has not come to an end. The Prime Minister had visited Lahore last week and expressed full confidence in Buzdar to run Punjab government. Imran Khan is resisting efforts aimed at removal of Buzdar as chief minister Punjab. He perhaps still believes Buzdar is his good choice to run Punjab, a province having 60 percent population of Pakistan. Buzdar is in the line of fire since his elevation to the post of chief minister. A sizable number of Pakistan Tehrik Insaf (PTI) parliamentarians and party office bearers are not happy with Imran Khan’ s decision of picking up Buzdar as chief minister Punjab., but prime minister remained convinced that his decision of Buzdar was correct. Imran Khan had many times expressed his support for Buzdar in the media. Some media reports also suggest that establishment is also demanding of Imran Khan removal of Buzdar and induction of any capable chief minister. Independent voices also doubt Buzdar’s capacity to run the Punjab government. But now PML (Q) decision of jumping into the game of chief minister slot in Punjab has made things worst for Buzdar. PML Q according to some media reports announced Ch Pervaiz Elahi as candidate for chief minister Punjab post if Buzdar goes out.
