LAHORE : September 30,2022:. In 6th T20 clash , visiting English team trashed Pakistan and won Friday’s match by 8 wickets .
England won the toss and put Pakistan into bat first .
Pakistan side made 169 runs off 20 overs. Captain Babar Azam played a wonderful inning of 84:runs off 48 balls and took Pakistan’s total to a defendable level.
But England had a plan to have a stormy game for Friday’s clash and won 6th T20 to equalise the 7 matches T20 series .
Its players turned the first power play into a whirlwind and put 75 runs on the board in 6 overs.
Shadab clinched first wicket for Pakistan, but it made no difference as the new English bat , Malan , too played a story inning . The visiting teams bats thrashed all bowlers and achieved target of 170 runs in just 15 overs.
With Friday’s win , English team has put the 7 matches series wide open.
Pakistani fans had disappointment for poor show of Pakistan team in Friday’s match.
Arslan Arif Rana, a cricket fan , termed Pakistan team performance in Friday’s match as pathetic. In his comments , he said ” Pakistan side offered poor performance and lost match to visiting team”.
Both team will fight in final in Lahore at Qadafi stadium on October 2,2022 (Sunday) .
