ISLAMABAD : October 24,2022: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday issued a detailed judgment in Imran Khan’s disqualification case .
The detailed judgment said Imran Khan intentionally provided incorrect information and indulged in lying under oath and on the basis of an undeniable evidence under the relevant articles of the constitution .
ECP had disqualified Imran Khan under article 63 for submitting incorrect information about Toshakhana . The detailed judgment also said Imran Khan consealed facts in Toshakhana case .
Since disqualification of Imran Khan , PTI is exploring various options to get relief against ECP decision . It has been protesting in public over ECP decision of disqualifying Imran Khan and meanwhile it also moved Islamabad High Court (IHC) for suspension of the ECP judgment .
PTI is not getting its desired result in ECP decision . Its public protest had been very weak and it too has so for failed to get desired relief .
Meanwhile , ECP has denotified Imran Khan as a member of the national assembly from NA -95.
The commission has also withheld notification of Imran Khan’s sucess from six constituencies of the national assembly .
