Fazal concedes failure of APC before it takes -off

ISLAMABAD: The all parties’ conference (APC) of opposition seems heading for an emergency crash landing even before it starts. For the last three weeks, the opposition leaders are trying hard to reach to some understanding on the agenda of APC, but it does not seem possible as none of them seems serious to take APC seriously. The opposition wants to have APC soon after the Eidul Azha.
Body language of opposition leaders such as Bilawal Bhutto, Shahbaz Sharif and Maulana Fazaul Rehman is narrating the whole inside story of their upcoming APC. Though opposition leaders are holding meetings on daily basis on APC and they are also giving the impression of all is well on the issue. They are also trying to create an impression that this time APC is going to dislodge Imran Khan government. However, the opposition leaders’ statements appearing in media are telling different stories. JUF (F) chief Fazalur Reham is a shrewd politician. His disclosure to the media other day that the opposition was still not united is enough for the people to have an idea of possible outcome of the APC. JUF (F) chief is rushing from Islamabad to Karachi and Karachi to Lahore to meet PPP and PMLN leaders in a bid to convince them that they should at least get to-gather to give a starter to APC. Fazalur Rehan is perhaps among those pessimists, who never accept opponents , no matter come what may. The maulana, as his nature reflects, rejected PTI government from the very day of election announcement in 2018. His argument to get dislogued PTI government is not understandable to the majority of this country. However, the maulana hardly bothers to take the people’s views or suggestions before taking position on any issue of the national importance. The same he did on the PTI government issue. He declared not to accept the result of 2018 elections for simple one reason that he was not among its winners. He only calls those elections fair and transparent wherein he wins with his other one dozen party candidates. From the day one of PTI coming in power, JUF chief is publically expressing his disappointment and there seems no end to it as long as PTI remains in power.
