Rawalpindi test update ; English cricket team suffers from viral infection

Infection likely to delay Rawalpindi test for two days

ISLAMABAD ; Nov 30,2022: At least seven players of the England cricket team are suffering from a mysterious “viral infection”, and it may lead to delay in start of the first test.

After a long wait of 17 years, a day before the test match in Rawalpindi, many important players, including the captain of the England cricket team, have fallen ill due to “viral infection”.

According to the schedule, the Rawalpindi Test was to start from December 1,2022.

English team attended a dinner at the British High Commission in Islamabad last night who himself has fallen ill 7 England officials and 7 players have complained of stomach upset and pain while fever, body aches and Other symptoms are included .

The spokesperson of the England Cricket Board has clarified that the players of the England Test squad are not suffering from corona virus but they have got a viral infection.

On the other hand, English cricket team player Joe Root has said during a press conference in Rawalpindi that the news about COVID-19 or food poisoning has been explained, nobody can do anything about viral infection.
