LAHORE : Dec 17,2022:Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) chairman , Imran Khan, on Saturday announced that in order to inflict big defeat on Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in the upcoming elections the Punjab and Khyber Pukhtunkhaw (KPK) assemblies would be dissolved on December 23,2022.
Addressing a party workers’ gathering at Liberty Chowk in Lahore through video link , Imran Khan said he has decided to sacrifice the Punjab and KPK assemblies to ensure mid term elections in the country.
Punjab chief minister , Chaudhary Pervez Elahi and KPK chief minister , Mahmood Khan, also joined PTI chief in his video link address to his party workers.
Imran Khan came hard on General (R) Qamar Javed Bajwa , in his speech and accused him of foiling his efforts to hold accountable to PMLN top leadership in Rs 16 billion corruption cases . He said General retired Bajwa was instrumental in his ouster from power and impose known thieves’ rule in Pakistan. He claimed he was aware of conspiracy hatched to throw him out of power one year in advance and being in what he claimed thieves to power .
“My rule ended on April 9 last and I addressed to the nation two days before that to alert the people of Pakistan about the conspiracy planed for his ouster” , Imran Khan said , adding ” I want to question as to what good came from ending his government and bringing in these ‘thieves”
He counted many achievements of his government like increasing revenue to maximum of Pakistan’s 75-year history, enhanced Pakistan:s exports to $ 33 billion and tackling Corona pandemic successfully.
Imran Khan said to add pressure on the government for fresh general elections his party members of the national assembly will go the speaker next week and ask him to accept their resignations without further using delaying tactics.
PTI chief said the youth of this country was quitting Pakistan for seeking jobs abroad. He said the growing financial crisis and disappointment was main cause of brain drain from Pakistan.
PTI propaganda cell had released some unofficial and unverified data a few days ago to create an impression that the youth of Pakistan was leaving Pakistan in current regime in desperation to look for jobs.
Imran Khan cunningly use the same line and propagated data in his Saturday’s speech. His speech was a beautiful mix of lies and bluffs . He used every word and tactic as usual to create an impression that he was the only leader who has pain.for Pakistan and was waging ‘Jehad’ holy war to eleminate ‘Thieves’ from Pakistan’s politics .
Information minister , Maryam Aurangzeb , rushed to a press conference to give the official reaction on Imran Khan’s Saturday’s speech . She claimed that Imran Khan has lost his senses after losing power. She called Imran Khan’s announcement to dissolve the Punjab and KPK assemblies as his new stunt and claimed PTI chief has no courage to dissolve these two provincial assemblies.
Interior minister , Rana Sanaullah, while giving his reaction to PTI chief’s Saturday’s announcement to dissolve the Punjab and KPK assemblies said Imran Khan instead announcing abrupt decision played a new jugglery to the nation with a hope that by December 23, someone may come to give him some face saving for taking a new U turn and return to parliament with his members .
