ISLAMABAD : Jan 26,2023: With soaring of US dollar to a new level after uncapping of its price, gold also touched to a new highs in sarafa market of Pakistan on Thursday.
According to Markazi Sarada Union of Rawalpindi, the price of one tola gold of 24 karat jumped up to Rs 193000 on Thursday.
This big increase in gold rates took the price of 10 gram gold of 24 karat to Rs 165465 . The price of gold per tola of 22 karat in Rawalpindi Sarafa market soared to Rs 187000 today.. This equation pushed the rate of 10 gram gold of 22 karat to Rs 160320 .
Silver price also remained bullish and its rate per tola in the local Sarafa market was recorded at Rs 2200.
The price of gold (bar) per tola set a new record of Rs 195500 .
In Lahore , the rate of gold 24 karat per tola was recorded at Rs 190900. The rate of 10 gram gold of 24 karat in Lahore Sarafa Market was recorded at Rs 163666.
In Karachi gold rates remained highest at the closing of the Sarafa
Market . At 5 pm , gold price of one tola of 24 karat was recorded at Rs 196,650.
This is highest rate of gold in Pakistan :s 75 years history .
