ISLAMABAD : April 15,2023: On the eve of Eidul – Fitr , Shahbaz government has gaven another painful jolt to the masses by jacking up petrol and kerosin prices .
As usual , Finance minister made the announcement to increase petrol and kerosin prices at a solo press conference .
Finance minister , Ishaq Dar, calls a press conference at around mid night to announce the revision in petroleum products prices after every 15 days.
This time petrol price has increased by Rs 10 a liter to take its rates to Rs 282 and kerosin prices have been revised upward by Rs 5.78 per litre .
The rates is high speed diesel and light diesel have not been revised for next 15 days.
Crude prices have come down in the global market and Pakistan instead passing on its benefit to the masses increased the rates of petrol .
Mr Dar probably went for massive increase IN petrol prices probably to appease the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
