ISLAMABAD : August 3: Minister of Religious Affairs, Aniq Ahmed, presided over a session of comprehensive Debriefing session for Hajj 2023 preparations here on Thursday.
The session witnessed the participation of Director-General of Hajj Jeddah, representatives from airlines, banks, and the Hajj group organizers.
Addressing the participants, Minister Aniq Ahmed emphasized that while making no grand claims, he reassured all stakeholders of his commitment to ensure the facilitation of pilgrims. “We are here today to ensure the provision of the best facilities for our esteemed pilgrims,” stated Minister Aniq Ahmed. The agenda for this year’s Hajj includes focusing on pilgrim education, maintaining discipline, and improving physical fitness, Minister Aniq Ahmed informed. “We will work diligently to instill confidence in the comprehensive training, organization, and fitness of the pilgrims,” he added.
The efforts are underway to introduce both short and long Hajj packages in the government scheme, according to the Minister of Religious Affairs. An agreement has been reached to promptly finalize accommodation, food, and transportation facilities in Saudi Arabia. Minister Aniq Ahmed is set to depart for Saudi Arabia soon to give the final touches to the preparations and facilities for the pilgrims. This year’s Hajj aims to provide an optimal experience for the pilgrims, with a focus on their well-being, comfort, and spiritual journey. The Ministry of Religious Affairs is dedicated to making the Hajj 2023 a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for all the pilgrims.
