KARACHI : Sept 4 : A delegation of MQM Pakistan on Monday called on caretaker prime minister , Anwaarul Haq Kakar , to discuss the political issues of the country , in particular , upcoming general elections .
The MQM delegation comprising senior deputy convenor , Syed Mustafa Kamal and deputy convenor , Anis Ahmad Khaqwani, briefed the caretaker prime minister on the law and order situation of Karachi. The MQM-P leaders also apprised the caretaker prime minister of the problem of electricity load shedding and hefty bills issued to the people of Karachi by K Electric.
K Electric is under severe.criticism for its poor services to the people of Karachi. Exactly , at a time when MQM-P delegation was raising the issue of poor services of K Electric to the people of Karachi, Jamaat e Islami Amir in Karachi , Hafiz Nadeem announced a sit in at the gate of Governor House in Karachi to press the decision -makers not to renew the license of K Electric. .
