RAWALPINDI : Oct 24 :Army Chief General ,Asim Munir ,met Palestinian Ambassador Ahmed Jawad and expressed his condolences over the loss of lives of Palestinians due to Israeli aggression in Gaza.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR) the Army Chief expressed his concern over the indiscriminate killing of innocent civilians by the Israeli army.
The army chief expressed concern over the Israeli army’s targeting of civilians, attacks on schools, universities, aid workers and hospitals.
The army chief said that the forced evacuation of Palestinians from Gaza is a reflection of crimes against humanity.
He said that the international community should mobilize to stop the Israeli army from encouraging the ongoing atrocities.
The army chief reiterated his support for a Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 border.
He said that oppression is taking place under Israel’s selfishness and narrow ideology. The atrocities of the Israeli army are a reflection of the violation of humanity and civil values.
