ISLAMABAD : Oct 25 :The government has approved issuance of red warrant of Pakistan Tehreek. e Insaf (PTI) leader and close political aide to former prime minister , Imran Khan.
According to an official correspondence , a copy made available to NEWSMAN , the competent authority has approved issuance of the red warrant for arrest of PTI senior leader , Zulfi Bukhari and directed to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). The official communication of the Interior ministry said the competent authority of the Interior ministry has approved the case of Syed Zulfiqar Ali Bukhari (Zulfi Bukhari ) s/o Syed Wajid Hussain Bukhari for issuance of red warrant to arrest him.
Zulfi Bukhari is required to the police in a judicial complex attack case. Golra more police station had registered the case under Anti Terror Act (ATA). Many other PTI leaders including Asad Umar , Shibli Faraz are also under trial for the same Judicial Complex case. Zulfi Bukhari is a close confident of Imran Khan and he is one of the main financial scams like Al Qadir Trust and Toshakhana cases .
Zulfi Bukhari’s alleged telephonic conversation with former first lady , Bushra Bibi, wherein Bushra Bibi could be geared advising Zulfi Bukhari to find a buyer for precious watch gifted to her spouse former prime minister , Imran Khan.. Imran Khan was sentenced for 3-year in the same Toshakhana case. The government is going to make a formal request for arrest of Zulfi Bukhari and handover him to Pakistan for trial.
