Fascist India cannot stop freedom of Kashmir: Javid Turabi

Strong voice for Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: Oct 26 : International Institute of Strategic Studies and Research (IISSR) director general, Javidur Rehman Turabi, has said India is a fascist country and it has no right to claim a status of a democratic nation as its forces are killing innocent Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir for demanding rightful freedom , besides butchering minorities on its land.

In an interview with NEWSMAN on ‘12 October 1947 as Black Day” falling on Oct 27 (today), Javidur Rehman Turabi said United Nations has approved the right of determination, but India is killing innocent Kashmiris for demanding their right of self determination to decide their future.

Mr Turabi said “ Today India has turned occupied Kashmir into a living hell where innocent Kashmiri are facing the worst ever oppression in Indian held Kashmir. Javidur Rehman Turabi said “ Kashmiris have legal and moral authority to resist Indian occupation and it’s the right time for the United Nations and other international forces to play a role to stop killing of innocent Kashmiris and accept their right of self determination to decide their future.

He said “India is following a policy of culling Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir through the use of force, but brave Kashmiris have rejected the Indian occupation and they are struggling for their right to freedom”. Javidur Rehman Turabi recalled that innocent Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir are facing brutalities committed by 0.8 million Indian army for decades, but India has failed to mow them down with the use of unprecedented force. He questioned how India which is killing innocent Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir and eliminating minorities in India can claim itself as a democratic state.

Javidur Rehman Turabi said Kashmiris are fighting war of Pakistan and they have offered over 0.1 million sacrifices over the years, besides suffering indefinite violations of human rights at the hands of Indian forces in the occupied Kashmir.

Commenting on backdoor diplomacy launched by former president and chief of army staff, Pervez Musharraf , Javidur Rehman Turabi said “ Pervez Musharraf damaged Kashmir cause by deviating from a principled position of Pakistan on Kashmir and undoubtedly Kashmiri cannot and will not accept anything which compromises their right to struggle for freedom”. He said Kashmiris want freedom and nothing else and they will continue to struggle for it till they get their right of self-determination.

Javidur Rehman Turabi proposed that Pakistan should follow a pro active approach on Kashmir cause and set- up Kashmir desk at foreign missions to apprise the world on the facts of Kashmir dispute. He vowed that Kashmiris will continue to struggle for freedom come what may and finally they will succeed to achieve their freedom from occupied forces.
