Quetta/Islamabad : Oct 29 : Pakistan’s two major right- wing political parties –Jamiat e Ulema Islam – Fazal ( JUI-F) –led by Maulana Fazalur Rehman and Jamaat -e- Islami (JI) led by senator Sirajul Haq –launched massive public rallies in Quetta and Islamabad respectively on Sunday. Both JUI and JI are Pakistan’s leading right-win political parties and enjoy dedicated public support.
JI of senator Sirajul Haq is one of the first poltical parties which mobilised the people of Pakistan against Israel ‘s bloody war on innocent Palestinians . It held a public rally in Islamabad on Saturday to express solidarity with Palestinian brothers and faced brutal reaction from the government.
The Islamabad police thrashed JI workers in the federal capital for holding a public rally in support of Palestinians. Its many leaders including Kashif Chaudhary Mian Aslam , Omar Sharif were arrested by the Islamabad police. JI chief took strong exception to the police crackdown on his party workers in Islamabad on Saturday and announced Gaza rally for Sunday . A large number of JI workers turned up to attend the rally on Sunday. Addressing the participants of Gaza rally ,
JI chief senator Sirajul Haq said the rulers of Pakistan have committed a crime by putting the participants of the Gaza rally to torture . He said JI stands firm to express unflinching support to the Palestinians and its people . He added JI demands immediate ceasefire in Gaza and permission to start medical and other supplies for the people of Gaza.
Meanwhile , JUi held a mamath rally to.announce its support for Palestinians in Quetta . JUI chief , Maulana Fazalur Rehman , in his address to the rally warned to Israel and US to stop killing of Palestinians in Gaza . He said Israel, being a Jewish state, was on killing spree of Palestinians and it was a duty of the international community to force Israel to stop bombing innocent Palestinians in Gaza . JUI chief said his party stands with Palestinians and Hamas which is fighting with Israel to protect its people and homeland .
