Sukkur : June 12,2024: – A shocking incident has sparked outrage in Sukkur as a contractor attacked the Pakistan Public Works Department (PWD) office, assaulting Executive Engineer Khalid Sheikh and his colleagues, and threatening to kill them. The contractor’s violent behavior has been widely condemned by officials, engineers, and civil society.
The Ministry of Housing and Works, officers and employees from all four provinces, DIG Sukkur Syed Pir Muhammad Shah, SSP Sukkur Amjad Hussain Sheikh, Federal Minister for Housing Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, and Sindh Home Minister have been urged to take immediate notice and action against the rogue contractor. The demands include canceling his registration and arresting him for challenging the government’s authority and threatening officials.
