RIYADH (Rana Azeem): A press conference was held by Pakistan Fashion Couture to announce an upcoming fashion exhibition in Saudi Arabia on November 16.
Adnan Bashir Khan, CEO of Pakistan Fashion Couture, addressed the media, highlighting the admiration for Pakistani fashion among Pakistani, Indian, and Bangladeshi communities, as well as local Saudis and other nationalities.
The exhibition aims to further establish the presence of Pakistani fashion in the Saudi market.
At the press conference in Riyadh, Khan revealed that this will be the first fashion exhibition of its kind in the city.
The event will feature Pakistani apparel, jewelry, and a variety of fashion items, showcasing the work of renowned Pakistani designers.
He noted significant interest from both the Pakistani community and local Saudis in Pakistani clothing.
“This event is a crucial step in strengthening fashion ties between our two countries. We aim to introduce Saudi audiences to the vibrant colors of Pakistani fashion and elevate our designers’ creations on a global stage,” Khan stated.
Various Pakistani brands will present their collections, including traditional wear, contemporary fashion, and exclusive bridal designs.
A special “Designer Zone” will be established at the exhibition, offering established designers and emerging talents a platform to showcase their creativity.
The founder of Pakistan Fashion Couture expressed optimism that this exhibition would be a milestone for the Pakistani fashion industry in Saudi Arabia.
“Our goal is to enhance the popularity of Pakistani fashion here and create new opportunities for our industry in Saudi Arabia,” he said.
The exhibition aims to attract fashion enthusiasts from Saudi Arabia and beyond, fostering cultural harmony between the two nations and promoting Pakistani fashion on the global stage.
