For the past 78 years, the call for Kashmir independence was raised from every street, every city and alley of the homeland of Pakistan, maintaining the past tradition.
It may be recalled that on August 5, 2019, the Modi government had revoked Article 370 from occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP government not only removed it and abolished the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, but also took away the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir on the same day. It may be noted that in a special message issued by the ISPR on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, the unwavering support of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their just struggle has been reiterated.

The Chief of Army Staff said that Pakistan will always stand by the legitimate and just cause of the people of Kashmir against state oppression and tyranny and surely one day Kashmir will become independent and become a part of Pakistan according to the free will and destiny of the people of Kashmir. Indian atrocities and growing Hindutva extremism further strengthen the struggle of the people of Kashmir for self-determination. Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir also addressed Kashmiri elders and veterans on the occasion of his visit to Muzaffarabad Azad Kashmir.

He said that Kashmir was and will remain a part of Pakistan yesterday and today, Kashmir will become Pakistan, the relationship between Kashmir and Pakistan is inseparable. The army chief said that if we remain united and strong, we can face every difficulty. Allah Almighty has blessed the land of Kashmir with natural beauty and resources. The candle of freedom is being passed down from one generation of Kashmiris to the next. He said that the decision of Kashmir has to be taken by the people of Kashmir, not by any usurping army in occupied Kashmir. Three 3 wars have been fought for the sake of Kashmir, if 10 more have to be fought, God willing, we will fight. You can commit atrocities in occupied Kashmir today, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow or for a short period of time, but not forever. It should be noted that a new song has also been released by the ISPR on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day. Addressing a special session of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day,

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that those who committed crimes against humanity in Palestine and occupied Jammu and Kashmir will have to be brought to justice. It is in the best interest of India and the region to move beyond the mindset of August 5, 2019, implement the resolutions passed by the United Nations Security Council, fulfill its promises to the Kashmiris and the world, and hold meaningful and fruitful negotiations on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute. When needed, we will use our full strength to protect our national interests. The Prime Minister said that it is a matter of pride to attend the session of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on February 5. I express my solidarity with the Kashmiri brothers on behalf of myself, the government of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan.

He said that February 5 is a day of renewal and assurance of our firm resolve because “it is not a slogan, it is the faith of the freedom fighters, and every particle of Kashmir belongs to the people of Kashmir.” He said that today we salute those great martyrs who have written unforgettable stories of freedom with their blood in the last seven decades, from the young Burhan Wani martyr to the iron man Syed Ali Geelani, from the brave Kashmiri children and girls to Asia Andrabi, the brave and fearless Yasin Malik, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, we salute every leader, member, citizen, journalist and every child of the freedom struggle. We stand by you in this struggle, until the Kashmiris get their right to freedom and become prosperous due to the blood of the martyrs in the valley. He said that the passionate struggle of Kashmiris has defeated the arrogance of Indian soldiers, despite the oppression and oppression, even today the determination of Kashmiris for freedom is strong in the face of the military oppression of the usurper India. The Prime Minister said that the intensity of the slogan of freedom is increasing with each passing day, India is increasing its army of millions in Kashmir, but on the other hand, the yearning for freedom of the brave Kashmiris is increasing even more. He said that February 5 reminds India that Kashmir cannot become a part of it from August 5 and neither the Kashmiris accept it nor the world including the UN Security Council accepts it nor Pakistan and the people of Pakistan accept it. He said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah declared Kashmir as the jugular vein of Pakistan, Pakistan’s relationship with Kashmir cannot be described in better and more comprehensive words than this, this is the basis of Pakistan’s foreign policy, the Father of the Nation Hazrat Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had made this policy together with the builders of Pakistan on which the state of Pakistan was, is and will remain based. The Prime Minister said that the resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute will be through the free, fair and impartial exercise of the right to vote in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people and the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, which is the only solution to guarantee lasting peace in the region and the world. He said that the Kashmir dispute is not just a territorial issue but it is a matter of the democratic rights of the people, the original owners of this homeland, which is recognized by the whole world. The Prime Minister said that the democratic right of the people of Palestine and Kashmir to live according to their will is a test of the world’s democracy. The democratic right of the people of Palestine and Kashmir is supported by democratic institutions, organizations, international principles, international law and civilized people all over the world. No country or nation has the right to enslave another region and its inhabitants on the basis of military force. The same principles of democracy must be implemented in Palestine and Kashmir that the whole world recognizes, believes in and preaches. Two different principles, two different standards of justice and democracy and discrimination in the implementation of international law are not acceptable in the world. He said that those who committed crimes against humanity in Palestine and occupied Jammu and Kashmir must be brought to justice. This is the demand of justice, democracy and international law and the demand of humanity for which we will continue to raise our voice at every forum in the world. I have also expressed this clearly in the meetings of the UN General Assembly, OIC and other forums around the world. The Prime Minister said that India should not be in the illusion that it can snatch the identity of Kashmiris or evict them from their land through black, oppressive and fascist laws. For more than seven decades, it has used all kinds of nefarious tactics and strategies, but it has not succeeded. He said that shedding the blood of Kashmiris, burning and demolishing houses, extrajudicial killing of Kashmiri youth, torturing Kashmiri leaders, detaining and imprisoning them in jails, turning occupied Jammu and Kashmir into the world’s largest prison and a cantonment for millions of soldiers will not solve this problem. He said that it is in the best interest of India and the region to come out of the mindset of August 5, 2019, implement the resolutions passed by the United Nations Security Council, fulfill its promises to the Kashmiris and the world, and come to meaningful and fruitful negotiations on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan has always adopted the attitude of living in accordance with the principles of sustainable peace in the region and the world, peaceful coexistence with its neighbors, Earlier, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said in his message on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day that February 5 is a day of struggle against oppression, support for truth and freedom movement.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the blood of Kashmiri martyrs will not go in vain, India’s atrocities are the darkest chapter in history. He said that when will the world powers speak out against Indian oppression? JUI will celebrate Kashmir Solidarity Day today in full force, India’s negative attitude is an obstacle in the implementation of UN resolutions. The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam leader said that the UN has failed to fulfill its responsibilities regarding the referendum in Kashmir, the UN has not taken concrete steps to implement the resolutions. The international community should take notice of India’s usurping rule over Kashmir, when will the UN, formed in the name of justice, take action for Kashmir?
