THATHA; The representatives of Coastal Sajjag Forum (CSF) , a social organisation of the area, has accused the power producing and other companies of ignoring the locals in jobs and simply not paying them good wages .
Zahid Rind and Asghar Jutt alleged at a press conference here on Saturday that as per law, the locals have the rights to get jobs on priority in the companies operating along coastal area of Thatha district , besides getting basic facilities like electricity, roads, healths and education, but it was not true in the case of the residents of coastal area. They referred the case of power companies operating in coastal area and claimed that were not providing electricity to the local residents which was in violation of human rights and the laws as well as discrimination towards the local residents.
CSF representatives urged upon the Labour Department authorities and human rights organisations to take notice of the situation and ensure that the residents of the coastal area get their due rights and facilities from the power and other companies operating in coastal area.
