RAWALPINDI : Pakistan National Heart Association (PANAH) secretary general, Sanaullah Ghumman has said smoking was the only cause of death and illness.Treatment of heart including other diseases caused by smoking is very expensive and out of reach of a common person and these diseases can be prevented by refraining from smoking.
Ghumman said growing trend of smoking among the younger generation is sounding alarm bells.With the implementation of FED, not only smoking will be prevented, but we will also be able to save the young generation from diseases, increase revenue And the government’s economic burden will be reduced.
Addressing the participants of an important meeting, Sana Ullah Ghumman said that heart treatment is very expensive.Informing the public about this, PANAH is continuing its efforts despite 36 years.The rise in cancer and other infectious diseases, including heart disease, is dangerous.
