Islamabad, Pakistan – In observance of International Peace Day, the HRCP hosted the “Conference and Awards 2025” at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) in Islamabad. This significant event honored individuals who dedicated their lives to promoting peace, justice, and human rights across various fields, including politics, social activism, research, law, international relations, cyber security, business, music, journalism, and the armed forces.

Former Air Marshal Sohail Aman served as the Chief Guest, joined by the national and international delegations, including H.E. Faisal Butt, Ambassador at Large of the Republic of Liberland to Pakistan & Nepal, and representatives from China and renowned human right activist Mushaal Hussein Malik as participated as gust in the panel discussion.

The event attracted more than 800 participanted. Additionaly, more than 70 peace awarded in which 30 awards cointrubtions towards peace buliding and promting, 30 awarded to the collbeative in the various fileds, and more than 15 awarded the volunteeres which worked in peace conference.

A highlighted of the conference was a panel discussion on “Pakistan’s Responsibilities and Hopes for World Peace,” which additionally showcased cultural performances representing the diverse cultures of Pakistan, including those from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. This segment emphasized the richness of Pakistan’s cultural heritage and its role in fostering peace and understanding among communities.

The conference included impactful speeches addressing urgent human rights violations, particularly in Gaza and Jammu and Kashmir. Speakers emphasized the importance of collective action to safeguard human dignity and promote peaceful resolutions.
The event also featured participation from numerous young peace and human rights activists from various universities of Islamabad, highlighting the critical role of youth engagement in promoting peace and justice.

The conference organized under the megestic leadership and under the supervision President of Islamabad Chapter Muraid Ali and his HRCP team, the event included contributions from teams across Pakistan. A noteworthy number of students from various universities of Islamabad volunteered their time and efforts. Their collaborative work ensured a successful conference, culminating in the peace awards that celebrated the achievements of those committed to building a better society.

In closing remarks, Chairman Jamashed Hussain of HRCP emphasized the urgent need to address human rights violations and foster positive collective development. He expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their invaluable contributions, which made this event a resounding success on such a meaningful day as International Peace Day 2025.
