Islamabad : Pakistan ‘s state minister for Interior ,Talal Chaudhary , on Sunday said Afghanistan’s failure in stopping the use of its soil against Pakistan led to retaliatory airstrikes on terrorists training camps and hideouts at seven sites in different districts of that country.
In a statement, Talal Chaudhary said ” Pakistan had time and again demanded of Taliban regime to stop the terrorists from using its soil to carry out terrorist activities in Pakistan, but it always ignored these calls”.
Talal Chaudhary counted several terrorist attacks made in Pakistan in recent weeks from Afghanistan and added that its not Pakistan , but several other counties are demanding of Afghan regime not to allow the terrorist groups to operate from Afghanistan soil to attack in Pakistan. He said Taliban regime assured of the guarantors of Doha talks that Afghan soil will not be used for any terrorist activities in Pakistan ,but it never upheld its promises for behaving as a responsible regime.
Pakistan has witnessed alarming increase in terrorist attacks in recent months launched by India proxies in Pakistan. Pakistan strongly believes that Indian sponsored terrorist groups were using Afghan soil to carry out terrorist attacks into Pakistan. Pakistan had provided evidences to the negotiators of Doha talks and demanded of Afghan regime to behave responsibly to stop Indian sponsored terrorist attacks into Pakistan.

Afghanistan , instead taking Pakistan’s calls seriously and stop the use of its soil for terrorist activities into Pakistan, preferred to make fake claims of not permitting Indian sponsored terrorist groups to attack on Pakistan’s security forces and holy places.
Early this month , ISIS , one of over two dozen terrorist groups operating from Afghanistan, targeting Shiite Muslims during Juma prayer in the vicinity of Islamabad , killing 40 persons and injuring over 150 others.
ISIS had claimed responsibility of the last Islamabad bombing. Meanwhile , other terrorist groups like TTP in ncreased their terrorist activities in Pakistan.
This situation forced Pakistan to chase down the terrorists inside Afghanistan by conducting airstrikes at mid night on February 21.
A couple of days ago , Pakistan ‘s Defence minister, Khawaja Asif, had hinted at Pakistan’s airstrikes inside Afghanistan in retaliation of recent Islamabad bombing.
Pakistan carried out very selective airstrikes inside Afghanistan the other day to give a clear message to Taliban regime that its failure in taking action against the terrorist groups could bring sharp retaliation from Pakistan like one it gave at mid night on February 21.
Talal Chaudhary has given a loud and clear message to Afghan regime in his statement that it must act against terrorist groups which are using Afghan soil to attack into Pakistan or face consequences for any terrorist activity in the future.
Pakistan had carried out airstrikes in three districts of Afghanistan 24 hours ago, killing dozens of terrorists who were involved in targeting Pakistan’s security forces and civilians.
